These Terms govern your use of the Riia app and website ("Riia", "we", "us"), operated by Maria Fitzpatrick. By downloading or using Riia, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Riia.
Riia is a personal tool for tracking and understanding your skin. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician about your skin or health. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact a medical professional.
Use Riia only for your own personal skin tracking. Don't misuse the service — for example, don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to it, and don't upload content you don't have the right to, or that is unlawful or harmful.
Your photos, logs, diary entries, and other inputs are yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide Riia to you — including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy (for example, AI analysis of your photos and notes). We don't claim ownership of your content and we don't sell it.
Riia uses AI to describe and find possible patterns in your skin. These insights are informational, may be incomplete or wrong, and should not be relied on as medical advice. Use your judgement and consult a professional for anything that matters.
Your use of Riia is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we handle it.
Riia is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Riia is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that insights will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions you make based on Riia's insights. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Riia and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Effective" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
